Indian Point Marine Farms Ltd. has been growing mussels in the waters of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia since 1982. We are a small family-owned business that takes pride in the quality of our mussels. We work hard to ensure the sustainability of our business and to maintain the water quality that produces our fine products. Our goal is to produce good, safe and nutritious food while minimizing the impact on the marine environment that makes this production possible.
Founded in 1998 by David and Evelyn Ernst, Terra Beata cranberry farm serves a range of customers, from families who visit the U-pick and Bog Store for cranberries and farm-made cranberry gourmet preserves, to businesses looking for top-quality frozen cranberries and cranberry products.
Our mission is to offer our customers French authentic certified organic breads and viennoiseries using traditional artisanal baking methods. Our commitment to delivering fresh certified organic breads is matched with our desire to support the environment from beginning to end, , offering healthy food, using high quality ingredients, following organic standards and procedures and supporting local farmers.
Oulton’s Meats produces, processes and direct markets beef, turkey and other poultry at their on-site store under the Martock Glen Farms brand. They also manage 40 acres of apple orchard and a 600-acre woodlot. Along with typical farm fare, Oulton’s also raise 15 varieties of exotic animals such as elk, venison, emu and wild boar.

Victor Greek, “the founder” born in Blue Rocks Lunenburg County, N.S., first made pudding and sausage at the age of 11 while working for his uncle in Lunenburg in 1930. In the 1940’s he started to produce his particular brand of pudding and sausages in his own store on Dutch Village Road, Halifax. He continued to make them after moving to Bridgewater in 1949, while working for several stores in the area.

Located in Martins River, co-owners Jen and Aidan, along with a small but mighty team of bakers make small batch goodies--from potato-millet bread to decadent brownies, from flaky biscuits to gooey butter tarts--by hand, and with the freshest ingredients, with an emphasis on local where possible.
